For the Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 Travel Season, grade groups are determined by the grade the player is entering in September 2025.
Woburn Youth Soccer offers competitive Travel soccer to Woburn residents only.
Players must pre-register for tryouts online and you may do so right up to the tryout. Please do not wait until the last minute to register so we can properly plan for tryouts. There is no cost to tryout and we encourage everyone to tryout. Cost to play this season is $280 per player. Financial Assistance and Payment plans are available. Payment is due after the teams are selected before the season begins for the entire year, Fall 2025 - Spring 2026.
All players must attend at least one tryout unless otherwise excused by the Board if they are to be considered for placement on a Travel Team. Attending only one tryout may affect team placement.
In the event that a player cannot attend a tryout, please submit an email to the Registrar or present a written notice at the Check-in time indicating the reason for the absence prior to the start of the tryout. If the Board of Directors finds the excuse acceptable, the player will be eligible for selection.

What to bring to the Tryouts:
Soccer Ball (G3, G4, G5 & G6 Size 4) (G7 & G8 Size 5)
Bring plenty of water.
What to wear to the tryouts.
T-shirt, soccer shorts, long socks covering their shin pads. Players must wear shin pads. Sweatshirts and sweatpants may be worn based on the weather.
Players can not wear their current uniform shirt or shorts.
Players can not wear any jewelry except for medical reasons.
Players can not participate if wearing any type of hard brace or cast. Knee braces that have a hard frame must be covered by an approved covering.
Please note that no one has been placed on a travel team for the upcoming season even if a player is currently on a Travel team or was on a Travel team in a previous year.
Players not selected for a Travel team will be placed on the same City League team they played for the previous season unless they are moving up a Grade group. Players moving up a Grade group will be placed on a new City League team. The cost to play City League is $180 per seasonal year. The City League payment is due at the time of their team assignment.
