Registration Information

Registration for our 2024 Spring City League Grade Kindergarten is closed.
Registration for our 2024 Spring City League Grades 1-6 is open.
Registration for our 2024 Fall - 2025 Spring Travel Season is closed.
Registration for our 2024 Fall - 2025 Spring City League Season is open.

For the 2024 Fall - 2025 Spring season, grade groups are determined by the grade the player is entering in September 2024.

The 2024 Fall - 2025 Spring Travel season registration closes May 19, 2024.

The 2024 Fall - 2025 City League registration opens in mid May and closes July 21st.
2025 Spring City League registration opens Oct 1st and closes February 15, 2025.
2025 Spring Travel High School aged registration opens October 1st and closes after the tryouts in November.
Players that register after the registration period will be put on a waitlist.
The $30 Late Fee is charged after July 15, 2024 for all City League Registrations.

Family Discount:
$40.00 discount for third sibling registered.
$50.00 discount for fourth sibling and each additional sibling.
*Late fees are not included in the family discount.

If you are new to SportsConnect, you will be asked several questions about name and contact info.

Proof of Age and Grade: All new members to Woburn Youth Soccer must provide their birth certificate or another official document and the front page of their report card or another official School Dept. document to verify their current grade. This only applies to players new to our Program. This does not apply to existing players from our SportsManager system and new to our SportsConnect system. When completing any of the registrations below, please note that you should not enter a birth certificate.

Since Mass Youth Soccer's age ranges include overlap, Grade groups are determined by the player's grade in the fall season of the current year. Please choose the correct group by grade and then confirm that when you select the grade that your player will be in during the soccer season. No child will be placed on a team until payment is made, a birth certificate and report card are received.

Document Upload Process

1. To save the birth certificate and the report card's front page or any document that indicates their current grade in the PDF format or JPG format.
2. Click the link below to open our secure Dropbox file folder.
3. Click Add files and select Files from computer.
4. Click +Add more files if needed to add both documents.
5. Once you've added the two documents you want to upload, you may be prompted to enter your name and email address so that the Registrar knows who uploaded the files.
6. Click Upload.
7. A green check mark appears to show you’ve successfully uploaded your files.

Financial Assistance
Woburn Youth Soccer is committed to making sure all kids who live in Woburn can play soccer regardless of financial situation. If you would like to request financial assistance, please send an e-mail to [email protected] to apply. You will receive a reply containing instructions about proceeding with the application and registration process.

Gender Identity
Although Massachusetts Youth Soccer requires asking that players be identified as either Female or Male, Woburn Youth Soccer supports transgender and gender expansive youth playing soccer on a team. During registration for gender-based teams, please register your child for the gender based league that best aligns with their identity.

Refund Policy
Requests for refunds will be subject to a $30 fee, which covers nonrefundable State and Regional affiliation fees including insurance, registration processing charges and the cost of the uniform. All requests for refunds are subject to review and will be granted upon approval. Anyone requesting a refund should do so by emailing the Registrar at [email protected]. Late fees are not refundable.

City League Registration Listing

2024 Fall - 2025 Spring City League Programs

Our City League Program consists of teams made up of other players from Woburn. Teams are generally selected by a draft format by the coaches when possible. Our City League Program groups are grouped by grade. We have Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 4 teams which are a combination of 3rd and 4th graders, Grade 6 teams which are a combination of 5th and 6th graders. Games are all played at the Joyce Middle School Soccer fields. Practices are at the Joyce fields and other School fields.

Grades 1 - 6 players are grouped by their school grade and gender.
Grades 1 – 6 teams have a practice one evening a week and a game on Saturdays.
Fall practices typically start in late August and games start the first Saturday after Labor Day. Spring practices typically start late in March and games start the first or second Saturday of April.

Starting this year, registration for the 2024 Fall - 2025 Spring City League will encompass both seasons, ensuring a seamless and convenient soccer experience. We're delighted to offer this consolidated registration option at a total cost of $170, with $85 payable per season.

As part of our commitment to making the registration process as flexible as possible, we're introducing a range of payment options:

Pay in Full: You have the option to pay the full registration fee of $170 upfront for the entire year.
Two-Payment Plan: Alternatively, you can choose to split the total cost into two payments. The first payment of $85 is due upon registration, and the second payment of $85 is due by December 1, 2025. Please note that there is a $3.00 installment fee per payment for this option.
Five-Monthly Payment Plan: For added convenience, we are offering a five-monthly payment plan. Please note that there is a $3.00 installment fee per payment for this option.
